Orders placed after 2pm on Thursday or any other time FRIDAY AND WEEKENDS will be processed on the next working Monday (unless a bank holiday then a Tuesday).
For local courier delivery you may receive a message asking where we can leave the parcel if you aren’t going to be home i.e with a neighbour or side gate. (A signature is not required if you give these instructions, but the liability of a missing item then lies with yourself if you agree to this service).
Our UK delivery service includes England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, together with the Channel Islands, IOM, IOW, Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Insurance- Shimmer Hut insures each purchase from the time of dispatch to the point that it has been delivered to you. Once you have confirmed receipt of delivery by means of a signature then the responsibility of your purchased goods is then passed to you.
If you purchase an item that you are not the recipient of (for example a gift) and have addressed it to someone other than yourself, then you accept that proof of a signature at the stated delivery address is evidence of delivery to your specified recipient and the transfer of responsibility still becomes yours.
COLLECTION FOR PRE-ARRANGED APPTS-This is a service for local customers. There is no charge for this service , however you will need to contact us and have an agreed time and slot (these are very limited) before ticking this option at checkout. This is NOT a service we can guarantee. Saturdays 10am to 12.30pm please contact us to arrange a time for social distancing purposes! (This time slot may change each week so please confirm your appt-alternatively please pay £3.99 for delivery at checkout).

(PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS).......We recommend sending by Royal Mail signed for service or special delivery for your own protection. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for any product that is not received in our returns address below so please retain your proof of return, so you can dispute delivery with the courier used. For example if you send a parcel untracked and we do not receive the parcel, we cannot accept liability for the missing parcel and will not be able to process your return.

****Christmas Policy-Anything purchased in December has an extended returns date which will end on 10th January 2023/or 14 days from the day you purchased from us- if this passes the 10th January 2023! *******
Our normal policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase unfortunately we cant offer you a refund.
All SALE items are non refundable.
Items are fully checked and photographed when leaving the boutique so we are confident your item will be perfect when you receive it, however in the unlikely event the item is faulty please contact us via shimmerhut@aol.co.uk or our contact page via the website and we will get back to you ASAP go resolve the issue.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and labels attached (Not removed).* Items will not be refunded if traces of perfume/makeup/faketan/deodorant or strong cigarette smells are present and/or if we believe the item has been washed or worn.
We CANNOT accept products back where the seals/labels have been removed/tampered with or which are in a condition which indicates the product may have been used, unless faulty. For this reason, we also reserve the right to withhold refunds until we have been able to verify that the product is unused. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 states "consumers will lose their right to cancel if they unseal goods that are not suitable for return if they are unsealed, due to health protection or hygiene reasons". If the buyer removed hygiene deals against instructions to the contrary, they are likely to be deemed to have 'accepted' the goods and are not entitled to a refund or to cancel the contract.

* SWIMWEAR & UNDERWEAR MUST HAVE ORIGINAL HYGIENE STICKERS IN PLACE FOR A REFUND AS WELL AS BEING IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS SENT TO YOU (AS ABOVE).
EXCHANGES-
We DO NOT accept exchanges as customers can obtain a replacement item quicker by placing a new order and returning the original one for a refund, which we endeavour to process within five working days of receipt. However your payment card provider may take up to five working days further to credit your account.
